Access Statement for Waddler's Rest
Introduction
We offer the property known as Waddler's Rest as a Self Catering holiday bungalow constructed in 1988. It is situated in The Royal Chalet Park Mundesley which is in an area of outstanding beauty.

The nearest bus stop is approx 500m metres from our holiday home. The nearest train station is in North Walsham and is 5 miles away. Buses or taxis are available to Mundesley.The Royal Chalet Park is appox 5 minutes to the nearest shop or the village centre or ½ mile by road. The nearest public toilets are opposite the Ship Inn in Beach road approx 450 metres from Waddler's Rest.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
There is no direct access to the bungalow by car. There is a tarmac car park next to the chalet park which is used by holidaymakers. Directions from the nearest towns are as follows:
Cromer: take the B1159 road which will take you to Beach Road. This road follows on to Paston Road (still the B1159) when you reach THE ROYAL HOTEL turn light into Beckmeadow Way. The car park is approx 15 metres on the right.
North Walsham: take the B1145 road for approx 4 miles leading into Water Lane then turn left into Paston road B1159 and you must follow it until you reach THE ROYAL HOTEL. When you get to the Hotel please turn left which will lead into Beckmeadow Way.
A detailed map of Mundesley with car park, location of Waddler's Rest and beach hut plus Key holder name and address will be highlighted and sent to our holiday makers.
The distance from the car park to our bungalow is approx 15 metres on concrete paths - less than a 1 minute walk. The site is mainly level with concretes paths. Waddler's Rest has its own path across the lawns which lead directly to the chalet door.

Door = 67cm wide
Step = 96cm x 31cmx 16cm
From the path and then a threshold 27cm high (from outside step)The door handle is 124cm high and the key hole of the lock is 115cm high.

We ask if the holidaymaker could phone Kerstin 48 hours before their arrival time.The chalet is ready for use after 2.30pm. Please give a quick call to Kerstin half an hour before you arrive then Kerstin will meet the holidaymaker at Waddler's Rest to welcome you and pass the keys over.

Ground and Gardens
The chalets are on a lawn area with grass banks. There are some concrete steps and footpaths. Waddler's Rest has a footpath across the lawn to the front door.
The adjoining Dell chalet park is accessed via a set of 7 steps (17cm x 46cm x 117cm)With a hand rail on the right (facing bottom of steps).
The adjoining Dell chalets site has a millpond at the top of the site and a stream running alongside the access road. Both are fenced by a 3ft high chain link fence.
Inside the Chalet
Fire Alarm- there is a battery fire alarm in the living area of the chalet
Fire Blanket- for the oven which is situated on the right hand side of the outside of the
Kitchen door frame.

Television remote control - for the Panasonic colour flat screen TV with free view. Plus radio.
Lighting - Bedrooms ceiling light with bedside lamps plus alarm radio clock
Kitchen - ceiling light plus light on the extractor fan above the oven.
Bathroom - enclosed ceiling light with electric shaving sockets.
Lounge - ceiling light plus two table lights.
Internal Layout
The front door opens onto the living area with a three piece suite, dining table and chairs. The living area has direct access to bedrooms with sliding doors. There is an adjoining bathroom/ toilet. A separate kitchen with doors. The kitchen is not open plan.
The living area is 410cm by 370cm.
The doorways to the bedrooms are 61cm wide and the bathroom is 60cm wide.
Colour Schema: -lounge emulsion paint yellow, kitchen green, bathroom blue, bedrooms gold, light pink. White skirting and contrasting carpet.
Doorways - The doorways to the two bedrooms are 61cm wide and the bathroom is 60cm wide.
Flooring- Low pile carpets in the bedrooms good quality hard wearing carpet in the lounge
Good quality vinyl flooring in the kitchen, bathroom and toilet.
Seating and tables dining table- two sides drop down 65 cm long x 91 cm wide x 75 cm high when fully open 130 cm along side with two standard chairs 47cm high and three fold up chairs.

Double bed provided 155cm wide with 70cm space one side of the bed, and 40cm on the other side bed height is 57cm with four large drawers two each side of the bed.

Left hand side of bed one shelf with radio alarm clock plus bed light.
Plus small pine table for drinks etc.
Bed is moveable but space is limited.
